Lecturer in German History at Queen Mary University of London

About the Role
Applications are invited for a Lecturer in German History. The post holder will be expected to deliver high-quality teaching and participate in activities to improve student education, welfare, engagement and overall experience. The Lecturer in German History will contribute to the teaching of existing modules in German history, including leading on an UG specialist module in the history of Nazi Germany, and skills training for undergraduate History students.

About You
You will have a PhD in History or in a relevant field and / or relevant professional qualification and / or equivalent professional experience. You will have experience of teaching at undergraduate and /or postgraduate level, and a track record of role-relevant work published in appropriate renowned outlets. Higher education teaching accreditation is desirable.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full-time indefinite contract, with an expected start date of 1st December 2023. The salary will be Grade 5 £45,931 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
