The Memory Studies Association is a professional association for Memory Studies scholars and those active in museums, memorial institutions, archives, the arts, and other fields engaged in remembrance. The objective is to become the most important forum for the memory field—both through an annual, international and interdisciplinary conference and through a strong online presence. The first conference took place in Amsterdam in 2016. This year, we are holding our 8th Annual Conference in Lima, Peru, in collaboration with Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Cancellation policy

In case of cancellation before June 16 we will refund 50% of the conference fee. After June 16, we will be unable to refund your fee.

Payment Policy

Bear in mind that MSA membership and conference fee payment are compulsory to present during the conference.

Bear in mind that anybody presenting a paper at an MSA conference needs to be an MSA member and is required to pay a conference fee.

PhD Students; Early-Career Members; Members in Low-Income Countries € 45
Mid-Career Members; Early Career Members in High-Income Countries €110
Senior Members; Well-Compensated Members €180
MSA Friends By paying the highest conference fee you agree to voluntarily support our solidarity fund for low-income participants. €250

Registration and full payment of fees will be absolutely compulsory for attending any of the conference events

En caso de cancelación antes del 16 de junio le reembolsaremos el 50% del importe del congreso. Después del 16 de junio, no podremos reembolsarle su tarifa. Tenga en cuenta que la membresía de MSA y el pago de la tarifa de la conferencia son obligatorios para presentar durante la conferencia. La inscripción y el pago total de las tasas serán absolutamente obligatorios para asistir a cualquiera de los eventos del congreso.
