Seminar: Violence, Memory, Networks

The fifth session of the seminar Violence, Memory, Networks will take place on 16th July, 2025, at 2.30 pm (GMT+1 | London Time), exclusively online.

In this session, Herman Siemens (Liden University, Netherlands) will bring us a communication titled “Towards a Political Ontology of Violence: Laclau, Nietzsche and the Ontological Difference” and Peter J. Verovsek (University of Groningen, Netherlands) will talk about “The Philosophical Roots of Liberal and Liberal Democracy: Collective Memory and Conflicting Visions of Sovereignty in Europe”.
