MSA Teaching Survey

The survey is open until 17th November 2024.

Do you teach (or are you keen to teach) courses or topics related to Memory Studies? Would you be interested to connect with others to consider collaborative teaching on Memory Studies?

We invite you to participate in a voluntary survey of MSA mailing list members on the topic of teaching Memory Studies, developed by Professor Susannah Eckersley, Newcastle University, UK, as part of the MSA Teaching Memory Studies Group. The survey is open until 17th November 2024.

Invitation and Brief Summary
You are being invited to take part in a research study. Before you decide whether or not you wish to take part it is important that you understand why the research is being done and what it will involve. Please read the information provided at the start of the survey carefully and discuss it with others if you wish. Take time to decide whether or not you wish to take part. If you do decide to take part, you will be asked to complete a consent form. However, you are free to withdraw at any time, without giving any reason and without any penalty or loss of benefits.

What is the purpose of the research? This short survey has been developed by members of the MSA Teaching Memory Studies Working Group for two reasons. Firstly, to gather information about Memory Studies teaching that is currently being offered internationally. And secondly, to ascertain interest among MSA mailing list members in networking to develop collaborative teaching programmes connected to Memory Studies.

What does taking part involve? We would be very grateful for your participation, the survey consists of 30 questions, and we estimate it will take you no more than 15 minutes to complete it. Your participation is entirely voluntary. By completing the survey, participants consent to the sharing of their provided data with Newcastle University, UK, the survey developer. The data will be used exclusively for the purposes of this research and handled in accordance with all applicable data protection regulations.
