Welcome to the ICOM Exhibitions Annual Conference! This year’s theme is Momentum: Exhibitions and Memory. Join them at the Estonian National Museum for three days of insightful discussions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities. Learn from industry experts, share your experiences, and gain new perspectives on how memories impact exhibitions. Co-sponsored by ICOM Exhibitions, the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, ICOM Estonia and hosted by the Estonian National Museum, Momentum: Exhibitions and Memory will provide a space for big conversations, expansive questions, and new ideas. Each day will have a guiding theme and will start with a moderated conversation between two international keynote speakers, followed by concurrent sessions and workshops. The day will end with visits to local museums where participants will have the opportunity to explore, learn, and discuss how museums in Estonia serve their community in new and different ways.
Throughout the 3 days, participants will also have opportunities to network, plan B2B meetings, and explore the host venue Estonian National Museum https://www.erm.ee/en with special behind-the-scenes tours.

How can exhibitions engage audiences in an understanding of memory and the past to create more just futures?
Intersection of Memory, Innovation and Exhibitions
Can memory exhibitions be innovative? What do we gain or lose by using new technologies and approaches to explore memory?
How do Exhibitions Shape Memory?
In times of conflict, exhibitions can play a key role in shaping how communities view the present. What is our ethical responsibility and how can we bring communities together?

ICOM Exhibitions welcomes all members of our community to participate in our annual conference and does not require ICOM or ICOM Exhibitions membership to attend. However, we do use the ICOM pricing structure to inform our registration process.
